Bathinda Airport is a civil enclave. This is situated at the Bhisiana Air Force Station of Indian Air Force. Presently under construction, the domestic air terminal is being built right near the village of Virk Kalan. This is about 20 kilometres northwest of Bhatinda situated in Punjab, India.
The Airports Authority of India has invested about 25 crore INR to build Bathinda civil enclave. Approximately, 42 acres of land is used to construct the airport. The apron is supposed to hold two ATR 42 aircraft at the same time. The glass and steel terminal building also features a VIP lounge.
